Pioneering Educational Initiative | Cultural Heritage & Media Workshops

Open photographic workshops by Krzysztof Ligęza, adressed to local community, following the idea of cherishing regional heritage (natural and historical). This multifaceted, open-access project was designed for local communities in the Nowy Sącz region, welcoming participants of all experience levels (mostly beginners).

Launched as a pioneering cultural initiative, „You do not know your own…” (Cudze chwalicie, swego nie znacie…) was a comprehensive, masterclass-level photographic workshop program designed to foster visual literacy and document local heritage. Funded through a successfully authored grant proposal, this project bypassed standard superficial cultural formatting to deliver deep, lasting educational value to the regional community.

The core objective was to empower participants with professional technical skills while actively archiving the architectural, historical, and natural landmarks of the region.
