Forest Relay of Generations is a publication documenting the history, people and natural environment connected with forestry in the region. Combining contemporary documentary photography with archival materials and editorial content, the book presents forestry as a practice shaped by knowledge, experience and continuity between generations.
PAN-FOTO was responsible for the visual and publishing development of the project — from photography and archival materials to book design, prepress preparation and production coordination.
Scope of work:
- Book Design & Layout: development of the visual concept, page layouts and overall structure of the publication.
- Documentary Photography: production of a dedicated photographic series portraying forests, people, places and activities connected with forestry.
- Archival Materials: selection, preparation and integration of historical photographs and documents with contemporary visual material.
- Editorial & Prepress: preparation of materials for publication, coordination of text and translation, image processing and print-ready file preparation.
- Production Coordination: consultation on paper, binding, cover finishes and other technical aspects of book production.
The result is a coherent visual publication combining documentary photography, historical material and contemporary book design.
